Week 17 Antsypants

This week, I am on proverbial pins & needles. I am designing my final three cards and uploading them into my printing account. Last week I received responses from:

Dr.Lauren Cline, the Dean of Nursing at LWIT;

Amanda Ellis, MSN RN, Clinicals Coordinator;

Laura Das, RN BSN in SNF and long-term Memory Care (through Dr.Cline);

Alice Jaggers, Multimedia Manager at Graphic Med;

Jodi Cooley, Gerontology Nursing Instructor and Mental Health Professor at LWIT (through Amanda); and

Cindra McCrann, NA-C Faculty Adjunct (through Dr.Cline).

A few of these individuals agreed to meet with me virtually to discuss current education and gaps for Nursing and Nursing Assistant students. Alice agreed to meet with me to discuss entering the field and receive her feedback, during which time I will introduce my game. Jodi expressed willingness and excitement to trial my game in her classroom and provide feedback to the learning process as a result of my game!

Courses proceed as usual, and are very overwhelming. I don't know why I agreed to be the detailed Minute Taker and go-to, for both the Public Health Club at my school, as well as the Deaf Con that my friends started this year. So many website designs, so much communication, so much people-ing, so much typing. Long story short, I'm at 2 hours less sleep per night than I'd like. Back to the grind!
